Daniel C. Hagan, Owner CFO/CSO

                Dan has been part owner/operator of DV Technical Solutions for over 2 years now. He thoroughly enjoys working with his clients, always leaving an open line of communication. During his  career he has always found himself in a customer service oriented job,  and loves to work with people.

                After graduating from a Technical Institute, Dan broke into the computer field in early 1998, and began working with a major Insurance company base out of Philadelphia. Starting as a desk tech, He was then quickly promoted to field tech in 1999. Among his duties were:  Relocating offices, Administering Novell and NT Server Networks. Along the way he obtained certification for both Novell and Microsoft.

                In 2001, Dan changed companies and worked for a company that resold Medical Software. His primary position as hardware lead tech had many responsibilities. He was responsible to configure and install many different sizes of Networks for Medical Practices. Many setups required expertise in Networking, VPN, Routing, and Security.

“Everything you learn in life is training for something” These are words that Joseph truly believes in. Even in his younger years, working with the public in the retail field has made him a better person. Listening and talking to customers is the key to success. It does not matter what the field is. This belief also carried over when Joseph was promoted to various management positions in his career. At that point, not only is the customer important, but the voice of your employees also needs to be listened to.

Today his philosophy does not change. With the co start of DV Technical Solutions, he believes we can achieve and follow these simple rules while doing it our way.

Joseph has applied his learning’s from every pc, network, switch, and router he has ever configured to provide better solutions for all his clients. “There is an answer for everything.”

From a technical side, Joseph has been in charge of large and small network design and implantations for many businesses. This includes extensive work in Thin Client computing (Citrix/2x), WAN, LAN, VPN, Wireless, SSL VPN, Switching, Routing, Email, Web Hosting, Firewalls, 3rd Party Vendor Relations, and much more.

Joseph has trained many people in the IT field and has always told them what he felt the most important thing they need to know. “Listen to everybody and learn everything you can.. Nobody can take your knowledge from you.”

Joseph has also been in charge of Research and Development in different companies to find better solutions to common problems and test there functionality. This is something that was carried over to DV Technical Solutions today.  Joseph is always trying and testing new technologies so that his clients can benefit from them.

Keeping up with new technology is very important in providing proper solutions.

He also helps beta test software and hardware for different vendors and provides feedback about the solutions they have. You can also find Joseph helping other technical and non technical people threw out the internet on different news groups and technical forums.

Joseph is a “down to earth” guy that loves working with his clients. Not only does he like talking to his clients, his clients challenge him with new ideas to solve.
